The team at Loliware have been leading the charge on hyper-compostable materials for almost 10 years now, from flavour impregnated cups to straws. After an introduction to the McDonalds team, Loliware rapidly needed to move from a benchtop laboratory demonstrator to billions of units: consistency, performance and cost were key.
Working as a technical consultant to the core team Me&Co helped define the business brief and a consumer reason to believe: beyond just a paper or plastic substitute. Helping to identify the correct scale up partner and construct a technical brief, Loliware were able to move forward with a tangible roadmap to fulfil the McDonalds order and engage other partners.
